Merry Christmas, friends! May your days be merry and bright, and may you always remember the true reason for Christmas.
"The law of Moses was unable to save us because of the weakness of our sinful nature. So God did what the law could not do. He sent his own Son in a body like the bodies we sinners have. And in that body God declared an end to sin’s control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for our sins." -Romans 8:3
"That night there were shepherds staying in the fields nearby, guarding their flocks of sheep. Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared among them, and the radiance of the Lord’s glory surrounded them. They were terrified, but the angel reassured them. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people. The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David! And you will recognize him by this sign: You will find a baby wrapped snugly in strips of cloth, lying in a manger.” - Luke 2:8-12
I was sitting and thinking this morning about how wonderful it is, how amazing, how strange, that God became man so that He could be the sacrifice to pay for the sins of the world. What a miracle. Have such a merry, joyous Christmas, friends. Much love!
