Peace Fleece

I was incredibly excited and fortunate to head up the re-brand of Peace Fleece. Peace Fleece is a small New England fiber company with a mission. They work to support pastoral communities that have historically been in conflict with the US. Currently they are working with the Navajo to offer fair market prices for the Rambouillet sheep wool raised by families in the Navajo Nation.

It was a pleasure to update the designs for Peace Fleece. I wanted to incorporate some of the original hand-drawn elements, as well as create a fresh logo that evoked both New England and the Southwest. Peace Fleece traces its roots back to the fences and barns of farmland Maine, even as the wool comes from bright, dusty, dry desert land in the Southwest.
