I have a new fingerless gloves knitting pattern for you! Valentine's Day is about a month away, but you may want to get started on these adorable little mitts.
They're simple, but you do need to know both knitting and crochet to make them. First you'll knit the basic gloves using a simple rib and stockinette stitch combination, and then you'll crochet the hearts separately to stitch to the back. What a gorgeous way to show some handmade love! Honestly, I feel like I have to give Pinterest credit for most of my inspiration and ideas - I never copy from Pinterest, but I do get inspired by the many wonderful things I see over there. These two pins in particular inspired me to create these gloves:
That bottom sweater, though. Meredith has always inspired me, and that sweater is no exception. I want to learn duplicate stitch so bad! I love the idea of adding a little something extra to a garment or hat or accessory - imagine pretty flowers or a simple initial or rustic free-form patches... the possibilities are endless. I'm getting ahead of myself. SO MUCH CREATIVITY HERE.
Anyway - here is the list of what materials you need for this pattern, and what techniques you need to know. Click any one of the pattern links below to download your copy!
