By creating purposefully handmade fiber artwork and goods, I seek to enrich the lives of the people around me with unique and beautiful pieces.

GreenCraft Magazine Feature

I was featured in the Spring 2016 issue of GreenCraft Magazine! Well, my coffeebag placemats tutorial was. I'm so excited! This is my first physical magazine feature and I'm thrilled.

GreenCraft is an offshoot of Stampington & Company, a publishing company that publishes dozens of crafty magazines, including Bella Grace and Willow & Sage. The GreenCraft issue specializes in upcycled crafts and finding fresh inspiration in something old. One of the editors spotted my coffeebag placemats and offered me a feature as one of their Simply Green projects. Of course I was delighted to accept! They even allowed me to provide my own photo, which I was really excited to do (my photo? in a real magazine?).

GreenCraft Spring 2016 Feature

Time passed, and eventually the magazine came in the mail. I flipped it open to my feature and perused it happily. Not a word was misspelled, all my information was there, and it was beautiful. My first physical magazine publication!
