I am so excited to announce the Folk Plaid Scarf knitting pattern! This is the newest addition to my fall collection - check out the Twine Apple Bag, Autumn Arrow Gloves, and Harvest Mitts for more autumn inspiration and projects. These four patterns will be available as an e-book at the end of the month, so stay tuned!
This faux plaid scarf was inspired by the folk look - I adore the plaids, the chunky knits, the denims, the beanies and had to make a scarf of my own. I saw a much more intricate method of creating plaid weave with knits, and decided to adapt it into a simple pattern.
This pattern looks complicate with very little effort, and you can customize the colors to your preference! The garter stitch makes it easy to resize, too - make it as long or as short as you wish.
- US 9 (5.5mm) needles
- Red Heart Super Saver
