Let's talk about a few of my favorite things right now. That's always fun! Starting with my beautiful friend Kristen (Friend):
Kristen is a girl after my own heart. I met her and her husband through mutual friends, and we hit it off from the start. Soon after hanging out, I realized she had an interest in blogging and photography, and actually had a really nice camera. I gave her a few pointers on her photography and her blog, and realized I had found a kindred spirit in creativity. In addition to blogging and taking beautiful photos, she loves vintage clothing and has a mini Instagram shop where she sells her vintage finds. We're going to be doing a special project together soon - keep scrolling for more information on that adventure!
This yarn is one of my absolute favorites. Patons Classic Wool. It doesn't get much better than this. Woolly, slightly stretchy, and available in a wide array of gorgeous colors, it's one of my current favorite yarns. You can find it at any craft store (Michaels, Jo-Anns, etc.) or buy it online for a discount at Knitting Warehouse.
I've definitely posted this flatlay before, but I couldn't resist sharing it again. From the gorgeously-bound Agatha Christie book of Miss Marple mysteries, to my go-to clock pendant necklace, to my crochet hooks, to the (you guessed it) skein of Patons Classic Wool. Also those sunglasses are from Target and my current favorite pair.
This is a photo I snapped of one of my favorite local places - Apotheca Flowers & Tea Chest. In addition to selling coffee and tea, they have a gorgeous gift shop and they are professional florists! They do beautiful work and are the go-to flower source for weddings in the area.
Kristen snapped this photo of me during one of our outdoor adventures - it was freezing cold this day, but we ventured out across this super long dam in the chilly wind. I love that I'm out of focus in the foreground and you can see the tower and tall pines in the background. Love it!
And last but not least, our pop-up shop! Kristen and I are hosting our very first pop-up - we're looking at merging or starting a new venture, and this is our first foray in the world of collaboration. We'll be doing this pop-up at Union Coffee Company in Milford, NH - stop by if you're in the area! Also be sure to follow us on Instagram @mkvintagehandmade to see sneak peeks of what we'll be selling and get updates about the shop.
