Creativity Talks & June Goals

Creativity is one of my favorite subjects, yet one that I struggle to communicate well. When people ask what I want to do, usually the best I can come up with is "Make stuff". Which doesn't sound very professional, or legitimate. I've begun attempting to refer to myself as a fiber & textile artist, because almost everything I make is with fabric, yarn, string, ribbon, or thread. But it's hard to really define it or put into words what I want to do - except be creative. june goalsSo speaking of creativity, I started to clean out my bedroom/studio in earnest like I do every year, and hoping THIS is the year when I can stay minimal and only work on the projects I want to work on, and keep everything else tidy. Could this be that year? I hope so.

In addition to cleaning and organizing, I've made a little list of June goals to refer to as the month goes on.

  • Getting outside as much as possible
  • Cooking more meals with fresh ingredients
  • Creating bigger pieces of art
