This is not a keyword-rich post, nor is it SEO-friendly, and you know what? I don't care. It's a blog, my blog, and I can write what I want without worrying about being found, read, etc. I'm also really tired of trying to keep up with social media. It's a full-time job within itself!
I wanted to write about how much life has been changing for me lately, and what that will look like for my little creative business. I already mentioned this last week in Hiatus, but I was recently promoted to full-time at the library and have suddenly much less time to spend on my shop and blog. However, I am still planning on writing patterns, working freelance as a fiber artist, and sharing fun stories and tutorials here. I also opened a Society 6 shop, where I'm selling several pieces of artwork in different forms! Really excited about that. However, I will be withdrawing all physical products from my Etsy shop and only listing patterns & e-books from now on.
So what's coming next?
- I'll be releasing several new patterns this fall, available for both single PDF download and e-book download. Really excited to share them with you! Get ready for coziness, rustics, and super chunky. These will be available on Ravelry, Craftsy, and possibly in my Etsy shop.
- In honor of my shop closing down at the end of December, I'll be sending out super sweet coupons to my shop bi-weekly to my newsletter subscribers, right up until Dec 10. Click here to sign up and get your first coupon, or use the form to the right!
- I would really love to start teaching online crochet classes, and have been looking into Skillshare and Craftsy for options. Stay tuned for updates on that!
- Also, DIYs and free patterns will be in abundance on the blog this fall. Think pumpkins, plaids, apples, burlap, etc. Typical fall fare, but oh-so-great.
Thanks all! Have a great weekend!
