Bozena

This is not the first dress I've crocheted, but by far my most favorite. I found this pattern in Doris Chan's newest book,Crochet Lace Innovations. I love its movement and its hand. The yarn I used to make it is mercerized cotton (Patons Grace) in a vibrant red. The pattern is so forgiving; it fit my slightly pear-shaped figure perfectly. Since I took these pictures, I've picked up a longer slip than the one in the full-length photos. It makes the dress look better by filling in more underneath. Enjoy this! I totally recommend buying any of Doris' books: Everyday Crochet, Amazing Crochet Lace, or Crochet Lace Innovations.
