I am dying to make these blueberry buns.
Don't they look scrumptious? Imagine a light, sweet yeast bun, hot from the oven and filled with streaks of oozing blueberry jam. I found this recipe on Pinterest last year during blueberry season and never got the chance to try them.
Unfortunately I missed the peak of blueberry-picking season this year, having been gone for two weeks, but I managed to fit a few hours of scrounging around some blueberry bushes into this last week at home. I was only able to come up with one cup, but I'm sure I can get away with using frozen blueberries too. There's nothing quite like baking with freshly harvested produce, though, is there?
Perhaps I'll bake these beauties tomorrow...
