7 Things

Welcome to another week of 7 things! It was originally going to be 10 things, but I ran out of things to write about. 519Uy3VdNAL._SX330_BO1,204,203,200_

Books // It's not quite Christmas, but I'm reading A Holiday for Murder by Agatha Christie anyway. It's one of the few I haven't read!

Music // NEEDTOBREATHE's new-ish album, Rivers in the Wasteland, is so good. I never really listened to them before this album, but I'm hooked.

Fashion // I love this shift dress with 3/4 length sleeves paired with the tights and boots. I also miss my long hair. *sigh*

Food // This weekend I'm making a seriously sweet treat for an autumn get-together. What better way to use Halloween candy than to cram it all on top of a giant brownie, right? Also Nutella is involved.

Weather // A tad bit more rainy this week, but that's okay. I like slowly settling into the early winter routine - sweaters, scarves, beanies.

Places // A mysterious old castle in Scotland. Honestly, it would be so cool to drive all around Scotland and explore the Highlands, the moors, the forests, the mountains. And of course, the castle ruins!

Movies // I rewatched Begin Again in memory of last year when I saw it for the first time and loved it. I still like it a lot.  Definitely not as good as the movie it supposedly succeeded (Once is one of my favorites). It's clean, apart from a little language, and I love the idea of recording an album around a city. Keira Knightley's style is lovely in this film, and I don't even mind Mark Ruffalo's sheepishness.
